Shannon Hageli was a competitive gymnast for eight years from 1984 until 1992. Coaching was a natural transition for her, and she quickly found a passion for helping young athletes learn to love the sport. Shannon and her husband Mark opened Dahlonega Gymnastics in January 1997. Mark is the CEO of everything business-related, and together they have poured years of hard work into making Dahlonega Gymnastics part of our community.
We attract and retain the best coaches who love teaching kids as much as they love gymnastics. Instructors use the USA Gymnastics Safety Certification and Background Check programs to put your child's safety first. We attend annual state and regional education courses to keep our methods current and provide the strongest environment for your child to succeed.
The gym is located just 10 minutes north of North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall. The gym and the lobby are climate controlled. The lobby offers Wi-Fi and seating for spectators. The gym equipment includes a full size spring floor, in-ground tumbling trampoline, and a huge foam pit for training advanced skills. We have smaller bars and beams that are just right for kids who are new to the sport. A full set of men's and women's regulation equipment is available for our older students and competitive athletes.
